Clinical Supervision
My Approach.
Aside from supervision being a critical part of ethical practice I have benefited enormously from some of the wisdom and advice I've received from supervisors I've worked with over the years. I want to be able to offer some of that to the professionals I work with too.
I have a good working knowledge of all the most widely used model of supervision but, in my own supervision practice, I focus mostly on The Seven-Eyed model, the Integrated Development model (IDM), and Inskipp and Proctor's 'Normative, Formative and Restorative' model.
My core training was Integrative, so I'm comfortable working with therapists from most modalities, but we can have a more detailed conversation about that in the first instance to ensure we're a good fit.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I have benefited enormously from working with a neurodivergent supervisor, so if you're a therapist or trainee with ASD or ADHD I'm particularly interested in supporting you.
My expectations of you.
All supervisees must have a professional qualification or be studying towards one (minimum Level 4).
All supervisees must hold membership with a recognised professional body such as NCPS, BACP, or UKCP.
I cannot supervise work with children and young people because I don't hold a relevant qualification. If you work in a specialist area, I may not have the knowledge to support you effectively so please make any specialist requirements clear in your initial enquiry.
Session structure.
I offer 60 or 90-minute sessions of one-to-one supervision according to your needs.
I'm also offering a monthly group supervision session from late 2025. If you'd like to express interest in joining this small group, please get in touch.
Fees.
Standard rate - £60 per hr
Concessionary rate - £50 per hr (for trainees or low-paid/unpaid volunteers)
Group rate - £30 per hour
